  5. Life at School – by Rene Guatlo. The author reminisces his days as a schoolboy at Pasuquin West Central School, his exceptional teacher, and the daily routine from flag raising to classroom to his walk to and from school.
  6. Narayray a Tarigagay Daguiti Agtutubo – by Leona Ibali. How the organization was formed in the 1950’s and become a mainstay in Pasuquin’s circles abroad to this day, raising funds for the needy through social events.
  7. Recollections of My Mother – by Rene Guatlo. As a young boy, the author lived with his grandparents in Pasuquin. He shares his limited recollections of his rare moments with his mother who died at a young age.
  8. The Murder of the Japanese Commander in Pasuquin – I.A. Lagac from an interview with Dr. Valentin Salmon. How guerillas ambushed the Japanese officer while returning to the garrison from a social visit.
  9. The Chinese Among Us – by I.A. Lagac. The early Chinese settlers in Pasuquin and how they assimilated and contributed to the town’s development.
  10. Manual Rice Milling During my Boyhood – by Rene Guatlo. The author’s observation as a boy as to how rice was prepared by manual methods for eventual consumption.
  11. Pasuquin Guerilla Unit – by Rene Guatlo. The story of the guerilla movement in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte during World War ll – the individual courage and patriotic devotion of the sons and daughters of the town.
  12. Quindorama – by Oscar Farinas. The story of a “sine-lubsak” movie theatre (with some seats for more money) in the south end of town in the 60s. Read how the name was coined.
  13. The Itnegs – by Oscar Farinas. Read how this colorful mountain tribe became a part of Pasuquin’s history.
  14. World War ll and the Japanese Occupation of Pasuquin – by I. A. Lagac. Author’s account of how World War ll broke out in Pasuquin, how young men including him were quickly drafted into the U.S. Armed Forces in the Far East, how quickly they lost the war and surrendered to the Japanese, and the entry and ruthless governance of the Japanese Army in Pasuquin.
  15. Liberation and Reconstruction – by I.A.Lagac as edited and retyped by O. Farinas. Mr. Lagac relates the final days of World War ll and his involvement in the Americans’s pursuit of General Yamamoto that led to his surrender.

We’re looking for a TPHS home in Poblacion Pasuquin to house historical exhibits and an operations staff.

Our preferences are in the following order:
a) An indoor space fit for occupancy that is presently unoccupied such as a ground floor or second floor of a 2-storey house or building, or b) a rundown bungalow with structural framing intact, or c) a vacant lot.
